You can study at the Advanced or Certificate Track Level*
Advanced Track - Working with Admissions counselors at Gateway, students are placed in an appropriate study level. Students who successfully complete this track may submit their courses to Master’s International University of Divinity for consideration towards fulfilling requirements for a degree in Biblical Counseling.** Students will receive the necessary assignments and preparation to apply for certification with the International Association of Biblical Counselors.
Certificate Track - For those not interested in the Advanced Track, but still desiring the necessary preparation to become a Biblical counselor, a certificate program is available. Students will be prepared throughout the Certification Track to become certified by the International Association of Biblical Counselors or the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors.
*Gateway does not prepare people for state or national qualifications or licensure, as our belief is that Biblical counseling is a ministry of the church, rather than a profession licensed by the state.
**Master's International University may require additional course work and applicable tuition to complete the degree requirement.
